Does anyone else just really love gift wrapping? What colour are you wrapping gifts this year?

I bought 4 Neon green 4metre rolls of gift wrap today. It cost me £14 but I just love gift wrap so much. I know it's stupid as it all goes in the bin, but I can't help it! I'm going to wrap the gifts in the plain neon wrap. Some of the gifts I will tie with bright red ribbon and hang a mini red and white striped candy cane from. Some of the gifts I will use an extra thin red glitter to do dotted star bursts in the corner. And some I will tie red wool around the gifts in stripes and thread red buttons on to the wool.

I know neon green and red sound like they don't go but they really do!

I'm buying all my wrapping paper from Tree Free Greetings in NH.  They make all their paper products in the US from 100% recycled paper, and they print with soy or vegetable-based inks.

I love giftwrapping. I think it is really fun and good to do. It is always nice to receive a present which is presented so nicely. I always use ribbon, and one of those pop-pop things that you stick on, but your ideas sound amazing! It puts me to shame! I love the buttons and wool idea, it is really cool, and the candy cane idea is great too.

No, I'm only joking. I totally understand you. It kinda pimps an average present.

I don't spend as much as you, but let it be known that I do buy an unnecessary amount of ribbon and bows. =) I also do the candy cane thing!

I can't answer your question directly, because every year I go to Paperchase in Warrington and buy every colour under the sun!

wrapping is like a hobby to me, i wrap for everyone come birthdays and christmas, and i'm a perfectionist too lol

for christmas our colour scheme is always gold, green and red, like the really christmassy paper that you get cheap from seasonal shops.

I like the neon green and red.  I also like wrapping paper.  I look for really nice ones that are on sale and save it. ( i try to keep the collection down like an estimate of what I will need for the year.  lOL)  I love using any pastel tissue paper.  It makes it look so delicate and yet festive.  i like to use a lot of streamer type bows too but I love them all.  I think wrapping a gift nicely is an art!
