Does anyone else out ther shoot straight pool anymore?

Everyone always wants to play 9-ball. Is straight pool a lost art or something?

Sure most of us do  Its just to long of a game for most formats ,Kind of like seeing 7 card poker on TV but close the door to the back room a lot of us still play it

I fell the same way about bank pool I was raised on it

You're right, 9 ball is a lot more popular, but there are plenty of people who still play straight pool. I spend about 1/3 of my time playing straight pool anytime I go to the pool hall, and just about every time I'm playing someone notices and asks me for a game. I don't know that I've ever seen an amatuer straight pool tournament or league though, which is a shame. It's a great game.
