Does anyone else that is muslim eat at McDonald's, Taco Bell, Burger King, etc just because it isnt halal?

Because I don't eat pork but I've been eating harram meat forever (I was born in the US) but some people I know don't eat it, because I was curious about people that like go on vacation and they wont eat out so that sounded a little extreme to me.

i eat at fast food restaurants that guarantee that its product is not pork. i think it is extreme to not go out to eat on vacation. however i understand their situation, but theres always the choice of compromise. i went on vacation and made sure i was consuming non pork foods.

as a fellow muslim who was raised in the united states, i commend you for your persistence and you are not doing anything wrong.
