can you give me a way to convince my brother that their is no such thing as global warming. i need visual things that have important people ssaying that global warming is a bunch of c**p. or else he won't believe me

Let your brother know that if you aren't an important enough person saying it is c**p then he probably won't be swayed by anyone saying it is c**p.

Global warming is a huge lie; a deception of monumental proportions aimed at convincing us as a people to forfeit our God-given rights and freedoms. It is a masterful threat to our personal liberty. Many of the same people just 30 years ago were scaring the world with the non-existent threat of global cooling. I do not doubt the earth's natural trends of warming and cooling, however, I fiercly resist any assertion that it is a man made issue, and that the problem will be solved by limiting my ability to choose how I live my life.

I refuse to bow down in idol worship to the god of global warming, and I refuse to allow America to be ham stringed into some cut- rate, european dirt theocracy.

It is *not* c**p.  The world is getting warmer.

However, it is set to reverse within the next decade, according to Dr. William Gray, the most eminent hurricane/tropical storm predictor in the United States. Ask your brother a couple questions.  They may help him rethink if we are the direct cause.

I'm sorry but I am going to tell you that your brother is right.  Don't you understand that global warming is causing the polar caps to melt.  Have you ever seen the day after tomorrow?  The science in that movie is true, It may not happen that way, but we will go into an ice age.  Where do you live?  Because I live in Minnesota and we have the coldest winters around, or we used to.  It doesn't get cold up here until January and it snows in April.  One year, in February it got up to 96 degrees and then snowed the next day.  If that isn't proof that global warming exist than I don't know what is.

Try checking geological stuff.. the world has warmed and cooled and so its warming again.  It did it without us and if we all left the planet it would continue on and not even care we were around.

About 40 years ago a bunch of Marin/Berkeley-ites decided they could control the population if they made a really big deal about a natural phenom.. with money from stupid actors who need causes to prove how unselfish they are and millionaires who want to take a tax right off.. they have convinced by lobby, Congress and anyone who likes to ride bandwagons, this is a horrible unnatural event that was totally caused by mankind.

Natual events are gonna happen whether we live here or not but people are so naive about geology they will run around like chicken little crying the world is warming.. and recycling isn't going to 'make it better' and it isn't going to happen in our lifetime or our great great grandkids lifetime.. They predicted all sorts of bad stuff 50 years and none of it came to be which should wise more people up.. but they don't pay attention to old predictions only the recent ones.

Global warming is very real.  However, the catatrophic predictions made by global warming alarmist might not come to pass, or, might come to pass from other reasons.

For example, the world is running out of oil, and the US uses oil to grow grain which it exports.  As oil gets more expensive, the US will grow more biofuels, and also import more grain itself.

There's a real chance of the US and other rich countries simply outbidding a poor country like Bangledesh for food and fuel, forcing them to make do with less because the US will pay a higher price for the commodities.

You confuse the heck out of me, how can you say that global warming does not exists, and then ask someone else to give you the proof? if you don't have any proof then you are the one that doesn't know stuff about history. Another thing how old are you? i say this because you could not of been around that long to see that the world is not what it was 10 years ago. The theory of man-made global warming is false.  Anyone who believes otherwise has not investigated the evidence or is purposely remaining ignorant to the legitimate opposition to global warming.  I have given up an one and a half hours to watch “An Inconvenient Truth” so I ask you to do the same and watch the movie detailing the opposition.

CO2 is not causing the globe to warm the opposite is true, the warming is increasing the atmospheric CO2.  When the world heats it gradually increases the temperature of the oceans which serve as the largest CO2 sink.  As the oceans heat up they release CO2 which is stored in them.  The information comes from the same data Al Gore uses, the temperature always goes up before the concentration of CO2 goes up.

CO2 makes up only .03% of our atmosphere.  Water vapor, another greenhouse gas, makes up 1-4% of our atmosphere, this gas is acknowledged to be the main greenhouse gas.  All human activities combined contribute only 6 Gigatons of CO2 to the atmosphere each year.  Animals, through respiration, decomposition, etc contribute 150 Gigatons of CO2 to the atmosphere.  So humans contribute only a small amount of CO2 to the atmosphere which is already in very small concentrations in the atmosphere.

We know the greenhouse effect is real it is a necessary effect to keep our planet at a habitable temperature.  However if our current warming is due to greenhouse gasses it would cause warming in the troposphere , but the troposphere is actually getting cooler.

The fact that only the earth’s surface is warming points to direct heating from the sun rather than heating due to greenhouse gasses.  Also other planets in our solar system are warming pointing to a common cause of warming, that common cause being the sun.

Second, even if there was a consensus it would mean nothing, science is not politics, you don’t vote on theories to determine their legitimacy.

The IPCC is the main supporter of global warming, their statements are defended blindly by people who don’t want to admit that global warming is not real.  People will claim that they took into account natural sources of CO2, they didn’t.  Take a look for yourself:

Also allegations have been by IPCC scientists who disagreed with the IPCC statements.  They say that their research was censored or taken out of the IPCC report.  This is not the first time the IPCC has lied, they forged the famous “hockey stick” graph, which later resulted in a reissuing of the IPCC report.

Quotes form politicians, CEO’s, and others are not proof of global warming, they issue these statements to get votes and customers.  Scientists are able to get published and get time on the media by supporting global warming.  The IPCC continually lies and misrepresents data so they keep their jobs.  

In regards to the precautionary principle that says we can only help if we switch over to alternative energy, this idea is not correct.  While this may seem legitimate it only helps the first world, third world countries can not afford to switch to the more expensive energy options.  Also the US currently spends 4 billion dollars a year on global warming research which could be better spent on research for disease or to fight poverty.  For an excellent example of how the precautionary principle is harmful you do not need to look further than DDT.  This pesticide was cheap and incredibly effective but it was banned because of it harmful effects on egg shells.  Now thousands of people die every year in third world countries because of malaria, a disease that could be easily controlled with DDT.

I hope anyone who believes in global warming they will take a look at the resources I provided.  These resources should convince you that global warming is not man-made, it is caused by cycles in the earths climate.  If you are not convinced I hope you at least take a new look at global warming as an unproven idea.  Remember that global warming is big business for anyone who aligns themselves with it.

I could not go this entire post without mentioning global cooling.  In the 1970’s it was claimed that there was a consensus on the fact that the world was headed into an ice age.  We have seen once before how damaging a false claim about our climate change can be to our world.  Most of the global warming crowd does not want you to know about this scare because it is so similar to the scare today.  Government panels were formed and claimed the world was headed to an ice age, evidence poured in supporting the claim, a consensus was claimed, then the whole issue just faded away.  That is what will happen with the false scare of global warming.

If you look at the data (the real numbers, not the junk Al Gore has spun) you will see that GW peaked in 1998. You can also point out the hypocrisy of all the idiots who promote the GW hysteria.

Also, point out that the earth is actually at the end of an ice age, so it will naturally (i.e. not man made) get a little warmer. And why is Mars getting warmer? All those martian SUV's?

There is so much evidence out there that flat-out proves GW is nonsense. That's why more than 15,000 scientists signed a petition disproving GW.
