It doesn't matter whether or not you're Republican or Democratic, isn't it a bit idiotic/childish to compare Obama to such figures as Paris Hilton or Britney Spears? I wanna know if anyone else finds that completely ridiculous.

  1. Paris and Britney are super popular, but have no substance. The analogy is a good one.

  2. Neither candidate will make a good President.

  3. It may be a bit silly, but then again, so is the Obama campaign. The guy doesn't even have a real platform other than "hope" "change" and "promise." It sure would be nice if he could expand on the concepts regurgitated out of the mouths of every candidate from the first election to today. The guy has no conviction whatsoever. McCain is nothing all-too-great, but the man has conviction and integrity. Obama seems to have neither, and without either, probably has no concept of their meanings. Obama's only conviction is that he's willing to lay down for the highest bidder. Just what we need...another puppet in the Whitehouse. The guy is a vapid twit.

  4. You may have a point.  We know lots more about Paris Hilton and Britney Spears than we do about him.  We live in dangerous times, and we have to think about having someone for president who has almost no experience.

  5. the republicans are desperate in this election year, and will do whatever it takes to win. you can expect much more of this bull, and you can stand up by voting for obama or a third party candidate. anyway, mccain's campaign in well organized. so much for this being the "clean" campaign john "experienced in washington politics" mccain promised

  6. Yeah,it is.But nothing McCain does surprises me because it looks to me like he's getting desperate.I am so glad he isn't going to win!

  7. Yes it is ridiculas....

BUT then it is also ridiculas to elevate Obama to "celebrity status" just because he looks and talks fine......

No one is examining objectively what "change" is

Going broke is change......but I do not want to do it

Destroying Americas healthcare system is change......but we should not do it

Obama's speeches are like trying to nail jello to the wall.... they do not hold up to reality

  8. he is a senile old man.

  9. yes it is completely ridiculous

  10. No matter what McCain or Obama say I still have to work every day. Who ever the next president is I'll still have to work every day. This whole election process has been very childish on both sides.
