Does anyone else think it's funny that Smeyer....?

said she made Eclipse and New Moon because she thought it would be a bad example for Bella to be married in high school, but has no qualms about her getting married and pregnant at eighteen, or the fact that her husband basically told her best friend to have s*x with her, or that said best friend is a pedophile, or that Bella is completely dependent on and obsessed with Edward, or that Edward expresses some seriously stalkerish and abusive tendencies?

She also doesn't mind the fact that both her main characters have almost committed suicide. Apparently that isn't as bad an example as getting married in high school.

I question a lot (if not everything) Smeyer says. It's like she's just talking c**p and her fans are eating it up (I know, it's sickening). Have you ever read one of her interviews? They're hilarious. One time, to explain why Edward told Jacob to impregnate Bella, she said, "I didn't know he would go that far either". WHAT?! I was just wondering how, being the AUTHOR, she could be shocked by what HER character does in HER book.

I have a theory that exlains what Smeyer says (and writes). I think she sh*ts out of her mouth.

If you take a book this seriously then theres something wrong with you. Bella is a vampire. She is alive Forever...Age is nothing but experience. As for Edward and Bella. They are equally obsessed with one another so I really don't care. As for his abusive tendencies?

                                I wouldn't say absusive I'd say controlling..over protective.

I don't know what you mean about Edward being abusive but whatever. No one cares. Seriously. Everyone's sick of hearing about Meyer's series, even the people who enjoyed it are sick of it! Can't you just let it go. If you ask me all these people posting questions about it are a little bit obsessed with this fictional book. As the person earlier said: it's just a book. If you like it you like if you don't you don't. This is the sort of thing you should ***** about to your friends, not to everyone who uses answers.

i think that people should just look past those facts/flaws and love it or hate it.bella is happy and so is edward.and also don't obsess over something that fictional!!!besides she is an adult and should worry about her own problems(not that she is real)

I don't really care.  The book isn't supposed to have a deep inner meaning or anything; it's just a cheesy romance novel for teenagers to read for fun.  People don't need to analyze it so closely & identify every flaw that Stephenie Meyer has.  Read it & enjoy it or read it & hate it.  Either way, people need to move on.

It's just a book.
