Does anyone else think its funny that everyone is saying Why did McCain pick someone with almost no experi?

because he is 72 years old? Its like they are trying to say he should think that maybe he is going to die and should have taken that into consideration. Why would anyone THINK they are going to die

It's not funny in my opinion because the world is too dangerous to trust our presidency to the hands of someone like Palin who openingly admits to not knowing anything about the Middle East. Perhaps her inexperience wouldn't have raised as many eyebrows if: 1) McCain wasn't so old with a high likelihood of not being fit for office at some point in the four years, and  2) he hadn't been bashing Obama for his perceived lack of experience. He talks about keeping our country safe but his choice was reckless and doesn't protect him from his foolish shortsightedness. Win at all costs could cost us dearly.
