Does anyone else think its wrong to drop baseball and softball from the 2012 Olympics?

I never even realised they were in the Olympics. British TV hasn't covered them at all.

I don't think there are many countries that like baseballs contrary to soccer or basketball.

However I would rather want baseball stay in Olympics than gymnastics or any sports that heavily depend on judges' mood and score.

yes. baseball and softball are fun to watch and its just like other team sports.

but they need to get rid of basketball, honestly.

Yes! Absolutely! I don't believe that there should be no softball only because the USA completly dominates. Many people enjoy watching softball and baseball, and it isn't fair to athletes who have worked their whole lives that they don't get a chance at the olympics like athletes in other sports. The other countries should simply try and train harder.  

I also don't think they should drop baseball because even though they are not the best baseball players the US has, they have been succsessful anyway.
