Does anyone else think that Phelps is a bit of a mutant?

Apparently his heart pumps twice (or more) the amount of blood around the body than 'normal' people.

His arms are also proportionally longer compared to average peoples arms.

Its like he was made to swim fast.

He is unusual I must say. He became focused on swimming because the sport was suited for him. He had a tough childhood from I learned. Other kids made fun of him because of his odd body although I would never know. I never noticed his feet to be honest. I figure he is just MIchael. He is simply himself.
