  1. I liked it. I think mainly because of the style it was filmed made it seem realistic. And it was original unlike most movies today

  2. I thought it was pretty good.... until the end of course. That was one of the worst endings i have seen in a really long time. But you have to admit, the rest of the movie was pretty good, the monster thing was pretty neat lookin.

  3. I thought the movie was good. I dont understand why people dont like it. Oh well. Everyone didnt die in the end. I think they killed that alien thing... Well.... Yeah, thats all i got lol

  4. yea it was ****** and horrible

  5. I really like it. It was different, entertaing and funny. And also for no name actors the acting was awesome. I like that it wasnt some floozy predictible movie where america defeats the monster and the two people who fall in love live happily ever after.  And i dont understand why you could'nt figure what the movie was about ....its really really obvious.

  6. i completely agree. it was stupid. the alien wasn't even scary it was just something to laugh at.

  7. I thought it was really good. I don't know how good it will be on dvd though, but the in-movie experience was pretty awesome. My head hurt like h**l by the time it was over, but to answer you question:

Yes, everyone died at the end. they kind of explained before the movie even came on because it says the camera was discovered in Central Park.

It was definitely longer than an hour and I thought it was pretty obvious that the city was getting attacked by some creepy monster.

If you watch one of the scenes with the guy and his girlfriend at Coney Island, if you look closely in the background then something falls from the sky and lands in the ocean. It's satellite debris and when they go to retrieve the satellite that's what wakes up the monster that's been living in the ocean for millions of years....ooh spooky! lol.

  8. I really liked Cloverfield, simply because I read this site before I saw it http://the-moviebuff.blogspot.com/2008/0...

All the main characters had myspace pages, they made up fictional websites for companies in the movie, a whole subtle underlying story not made clear in the movie.
