Does anyone else think that shawn johnson seems stuck up?

like she never watches her team-mates and she's only worried about herself. I think she thinks she's better then everyone else. Idk..she bugs me.

Uh, no she's not at all.  I don't know what that one girl is talking about, her cousin must be whack.  I've been in the WDM school district since 4th grade and go to VHS with Shawn and am friends with her and honestly she's really modest, like you'd never know she was a huge sports icon and she doesn't dress like a s**t or anything!  She can't watch her team sometimes because it breaks her concentration levels.  You can have your thoughts about her and make your judgements but unless you really know her then you'll never realize how great of a person she is.

Look, here is the bottom line.  She seems extremely sweet from what I saw.  A nice young woman.  She didn't watch her teammates because she was getting in the groove, preparing for her routines.  She seemed like she couldn't have been happier for Nastia Liukin when she got gold and Shawn Johnson only got silver.  Now, not giving her contact information out to people makes total sense.  She is a 16 year old girl trying to live a normal life but she has performed in front of billions of people.  Horny young and old men will be trying to contact her in addition to the thousands of fan letters that she simply wouldn't have time to read.  I commend Rian for doing what she is doing (real or not as far as being a friend of hers) because someone need to protect Shawn from the onslaught of messages and comments.

omg my cousin goes to the same school as her omg she is stuck up my cousin said that her friend went to the mall and saw her and his like "you really good" and shes like "yeah i know" uhm ok my cousin knows her she says she dresses s**t*y to and i swear im not lieing about this.

Well to tell you the truth I'mm a big fan and all but yeah she does kind of seem a bit suck up. I my self am an professional athlete and there is never didn'ta day when I didnt give any person a chance to talk or ask me something or even go for a cup of coffee. If anything all people should be like that. Just because you world champ, shouldn't mean everyone else is worth getting to know.

No. During competition the gymnasts are in the zone. They seem fine outside of the gym.

She can't watch her teammates... especially in the case of Sacramone, if she saw Alicia mess up, she might get affected as well. As a gymnast, you don't want to watch your teammate, but get psyched/relaxed for your own routine. She seems really down to earth.

Oh no she is not like that.  Nastia and Shawn are so sweet.  She is not stuck up at all.  And the reason shes not watching anyone else is number one this is individual competition...so even though her and Nastia are friends and roommates for the Olympics, they are competing against eachother.  This is the GOLD MEDAL WE ARE TALKING ABOUT HERE!!!
