  1. Well you know what the rest of the world has somthing to prove and you know untill they do then thats the way its going to be I mean look at bisping my favorit fighter not an american he will prove some things just got to prove your self.

  2. I would say when it comes to the bias of the commentators, they are much more biased based on other factors besides nationality.

Joe Rogan is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner so he always seems to lean towards the guy who has more of a ground game, ESPECIALLY if they have any sort of rubber guard game.

Mike Goldberg seems to lean towards the guy who has been in the UFC longer, especially those who have participated in the Ultimate Fighter series

  3. yeah its true. too bad too.

but there is still alot of respect for all sportsmanly fighters regarless of nationality.

people just like it when people from their "group" do better. is pride so wrong?

and the only way it shows is by how the crowd or commentator reacts.

  4. Does it matter? The winner is the winner nationality is irrelevant.

  5. I always thought they almost usually give more props to the Brazilians and any other foreign fighter for that matter.  You rarely hear these guys have any harsh criticisms about Anderson Silva, GSP, Minatoro, vanderlei, etc---but when Heath Herring made his debut and lost, it was such a big deal

  6. What are you talking about??? The UFC is bias in favor of good fighters period. Yeah, the crowds full of drunk Americans are gonna boo foreign people but what are you gonna do Matt Hamill got booed when he fought Bisping in London its just a fact of life. Not all your games are gonna be on your home turf. By the way, our UFC champions are Hawaiian (I know its American but its still diverse), French Canadian, Two Brazilians and only one caucasian American (I don't count Couture and I count Minotauro, he's the one fighting) If the UFC was biased, don't you think they would swing the belts in favor of American fighters?
