Obama has a very brief record as a virtually inactive senator.  His supporters do not want to compare him to McCain.  What are they going to compare?  Obama's missed votes and the fact he has not authored any significant legislation to McCain's lifetime of work?

They can't criticize McCain as being a Washington insider because Obama picked the ultimate insider as his mate in Biden.  

So they are going to try to run against Palin.  Maybe Obama thinks if he pretends McCain isn't there everyone else will forget too.  

It is silly tactic.  It makes him look weak, like he is afraid to take on McCain.  It makes him look sexist since he is attacking the woman at the bottom of the ticket instead of the man at the top.  If people review Palin's resume it appears she has more relevant experience than Obama.   Why does he think a woman with more executive experience than he has is not qualified to have a lesser job than the one he wants?  

Obama's camp seems to be trying to spin their attacks on Palin by making fun of Alaska.  I heard someone from his campaign call her the governor of an "out of the way state" and the "former mayor of a town of 9,000".  It makes him come across as elitist.  He might as well say an out of the way state where the people cling to their guns and religion.  

Obama should go ahead insult old people, women, people of faith, citizens who aren't from the ultra trendy blue states.  He should run against Bush and Palin and Fox news and anyone else except John McCain.  

In fact, why even run at all?  Why not just start calling himself President of the United States.  Heck, he was using a fake presidential seal just a few months ago.  Who needs substance when you are a celebrity?  Why win the election on ideas when you can convince people you are cool and the other side is not?

Obama has no idea how to win this election.

They're being compared right now because "inexperience" has been the Republican party's biggest (or easiest maybe) slam on Obama, and now they can't use that line without looking foolish.

No - it is because McCain is an old man showing serious signs of mental and physical deterioration. There is a very good chance he won't see out his first year let alone first term.

And so the selection of someone with less experience than Obama to potentially take his place merely demonstrates the stunning levels of hypocrisy that exist among the Republican campaign.

I personally do not believe decades of being corrupted by a system makes you more experienced and so capable of running it better - that is the argument Obama's detractors have presented. It is only fair they answer why such a condition is not placed upon thier contingency plan.

Um, he is way more qualified than McCain.  Have you read the facts about where the 2 candidate stand on the issues?

Mccain talks about renewable energy and features windmills in his campaign adds eventhough he voted against these bills 100% of the time.

Most of Obama's time in the US Senate has been spent running for President. Obama hasn't done anything since he's been a senator.

Obama seems to get a pass from the media concerning his experiences.  But, Palin is being hammered because of her "inexperience."

People need to check out reality... they're BOTH weak on international issues... and have different strengths on domestic issues.

2. McCain has battled cancer several times. It keeps resurfacing, so he could easily die in office.
