Does anyone else think that the whole Princess Diana thing should be put to rest now?

Ok, she died tragically young in a terrible accident. She was revered as a fantastic mother, but all you saw in the weeks prior to her death was her swanning off on holiday with Dodi. Remember, her kids were only something like 11 and 13 at the time!

  1. Me, you and MI5... so, why did you even bother asking this question? Time to stop.

  2. it should have been put to rest a long time ago.

  3. I think it should have been put to rest the day after she was buried. As far as pubicly

  4. your spot on

  5. I do. I think its awful the media wont allow her to rest in peace.

  6. High time it was laid to rest.

  7. She and her lover died in a stupid car crash that could have been avoided if they just told the driver to slow down; their lives probably would have been spared even if they had just put their seat belts on.  "Tragically young" is SO theatrical!  And I certainly didn't "revere" her as a mother, or a role model for a future Queen of England.    She was neurotic, egotistical, as proved by here use of the press for her own purposes, and was definitely not one of the "most lovely" women in the world, as is popularly said.

Yes, I definitely  agree about putting her to REST, and give us all a rest, but because that simply won't happen because some people believe in fairy tales, let's at least see and hear more of the sleasy, trampy stuff that woman did.  I bet there are pictures somewhere still that could make the holder a fortune!  William and Harry are old enough to know Mom was rather "common", so let's hear more trash about Diana.  I wonder if they can't find some photographs of her without that dopey look that made her usually look ********?

She worked deligently to give the Royal Family black eyes in public, so it would be appropriate to have her death mask showing her own black eyes in death.

If millions people voiced how sick and and tired they are of this whole Diana mess, perhaps the press wouldn't be so eager to waste paper and ink on her.  But the dummies pay to hear the latest theory, and see photos re-touched and re-rereleased for the thousandth time.

  8. I think that it is past time but Mohammad Al Fayed won't let the matter drop.  I do feel sorry for him because he did lose his son BUT the accident has been investigated in France and England several times and it is time to let  go!

  9. yes...it should...but then you have people who can still make a profit from it so...as long as their are people who can still make a profit from it...it will never be laid to rest...although Princess Grace died fairly young in a car crash  and no one ever really mentions that anymore...however the magnitude of Di is greater than Princess Grace...the whole thing is a shame...move along...the key is people need to stop buying these books and such on Di...when no one buys them anymore then the tragic story of Di will be laid to rest...

  10. Not as long as Dodi's father has the money to get what he wants. The answer to his only sons deadth. I too still think there was a conspiracy at hand. Wonder what the Spencer families thinking on that one is?

  11. Yes i do.

  12. you answered your own question there !

  13. yep, so lets not go on about it then hey!!!!!!!!!

  14. i totally agree!!!

  15. Absolutely!!!!  Diana was pretty, that's all she had going for herself.  I don't think that she really proved herself to be a good mother or wife.  Actually I think she was a nutter to be honest.  Her childhood wasn't the greatest and she never truly grew up in my opinion

  16. definatly she should be in peace and be left alone

  17. yes I do think its way past time.. you know my grandmother died ten years ago, and she was a great lady... this year we didnt have a big party and sit around babbling about her.. good or bad

the most said is wow I would love to have the recipe to her stain glass cookies.. on holidays a candle in her memory..

Mother teresa doesnt get this much talk, nor any other person who has done a great deal of good in the world..

Its a long overly beat dead horse..

  18. So ...why are you talking about it on here then?

  19. Yes, it's time to let this one go.

  20. I certainly do ,I cannot for the life of me understand why anyone should idolise or look up to this disruptive, mentally unstable serial adulteress !

  21. actually a long time ago, but media people have a fascination with death apparently so they don't give it a rest.

  22. She's dead nothing will bring her back

    lets get over it!

  23. I think lots of folks were pretty fed up with the whole media thing...mud slinging from both Charles & Diana...it was getting ridiculous ...I was saddened to hear of her death at such a prime time in her life but I think people went over the top...she left 2 boys without a Mother ...The whole thing was just like an ongoing saga.

She's been gone for 10 years I think we should allow her some dignity & peace in death...h**l knows when she was alive she was the media's puppet.

We should allow her to rest in Peace. Not just because she was Diana...but because its the right thing to do...

  24. Yes. Its been 10 years & it is all getting a bit tired now.
