Does anyone else think the same thing about roll-on Deodorant?

I've always used spray-on deodorants, but recently decided to give roll-on deodorants a try because I liked the feeling of being environmentally-friendly and I thought it would be a nice change. I've been using roll-ons for a while now and the cool thing about them is that they smell nice and they don't run out too fast.

However, I've found two disadvantages with them. Once you've applied the roll-on deodorant, you've got to wait 5 - 10 minutes before you can even put your T-shirt on.

Second, I've found that the nice fragrance doesn't last as long as spray-on deodorants and it's not long before you start to smell bad.

I'm just curious to know if others think the same thing about roll-on deodorants and do you prefer the sprays? I certainly do now.

  1. i stopped using rool ons for the exact same reason. i havent tried the sprays yet tho...

  2. I don't like roll-on for two reason:

    1. You really have to wait 5-10 minutes before you can dress

    2. It's cold

  3. Ugh, I totally understand. I've never used sprays,  but I know that roll-on  can be really annoying. I always had to wait forever before it'd dry, and I don't have that much time in the morning. And if you don't wait until it dries, your shirt's underarms get wet and you have to keep your arms down until it dries. Plus, you're right, it doesn't even last half the day before you start smelling bad again. As soon as you start sweating, it wears off. Nasty. And the one that I used didn't smell too great either - some kind of bitter organic scent. I prefer sticks a lot better, they last longer, and most of them smell better too.

  4. I've never been a fan of roll ons because they take forever to dry, and can feel sticky and to me, I don't like that.  I used to blast dry my under arms with a hair dryer.
