You know i had to get my Packers Question in with the rest of them.

Now, brett favre is traded to Jets. okay, that's fine. Aaron rodgers will be the starting quarterback for the green bay packers. okay, that's nice too, considering we need a fresh start. The next time the Jets play the packers is in 2014 in Green bay. Brett favre will be even older, in his early 40s, most likely won't be a help or hurt to the Jets, and aaron rodgers will most likely have more experience and skill, and maybe, just maybe, most packers fans will be off Favre's sack. now add it all up. This whole thing is pointless, and favre should've stayed retired. He's not gonna make the packers look bad, and when he has a small chance to, it won't matter, because we will have moved on by then. What do you think about my thoughts? agree or not?

  1. His old *** should retire

  2. AMEN! If he would have went to the Bucs he would have at least stood a chance in making them good enough to take the division. But with the Jets he doesnt stand a chance. That is why I dont see why people keep making such a big deal out of it.

  3. I agree.  He made an utter and foolish idiot out of himself.  I think that perhaps he is going through the change of life or something because a) get any recognition for & b) do any good for.  He lost all the pomp and circumstance and pride that people had for him as a Packer and people thinks he acting like a child and a fool.  I look at it like this...nothing from nothing leaves nothing and that is exactly what he got!!!  He's a loser.

    Peace & Love  :)

  4. Yes just another old athelete that doesnt know when to retire!!!!

  5. I understand what you're saying and not the situation is kinda shocking but fact is, he came back, and you have to deal with it.

    Fact is, he's a JET

Fact is, packers and brett has moved foward.

and it's time for fans to do the same.

I think both Packers and Favre has had their share of words in this matter and both sides have come out looking bad. Packers just got more blame.

  6. Wait 'til Vick comes back.

  7. He basically accomplished nothing. His legacy with the Packers has just disappeared, and now basically all Packers fans hate him. He totally trashed his reputation and landed himself on a team with literally no shot at the playoffs.

But he wanted to play, so as long as he gets to play, he's happy.

  8. He should've just stayed retired, he went out on the top of his game respected by everyone. Now he's playing for a team that doesn't have a shot and he's just going to look bad

  9. the only problem i have with your statement is that brett has every right to do what he wants to do...he wanted to play football, and he wanted a team that would welcome him and take him in, and the packers clearly didn't want anything to do with him...and btw, his top 2 picks were really the bears and the vikings, but the packers refused to trade him within the division, so his next picks were then tampa and the jets
