Does anyone else think this is a very bad idea?

I think its idiotic. What could be the benefits I think I need educating on this

It is a bad idea, but it goes with all the other bad ideas we have of selling our national assets to other government owned assets in other EU countries (our Trains and Airports and Water resources for example)

We are in so much debt that selling the remaining 'crown jewels' is all they can do.

Given that the French government own 84.9% of EDF, it would appear that the French government ae buying up great swathes of British Land.

The French protect their own major industries and keep them French. They are changing a bit though see the link

Of course it is, but what else is the EU for? For some general education I would respectfully suggest that you read up on everything to do with the EU, it is all available on-line. Read widely and with an open mind, I would not wish to be accused of bias lol. Then you will see exactly what has gone on and what the future plans for this country are in the future Federation of Europe. Believe me it will open your eyes, the time spent will be more than worth it. Hope you find this helpful.
