Does anyone else think this is outrageous?

that 5 year old kid on yahoo news shot a poor bear for the fun of it? i was simply apalled once i saw the video. i felt so sorry for the bear, he stood in a stand in the trees, the little coward, and shot it. what did the bear do to him? im so angry i can barely type. its these type of people who make extinction possible. outragueos. anyone else feel this way?

we need to get the parents reported. only adults should be hunting. hunting is a great sport for responsible adults

I can't believe that he just did it for fun. It is one thing if you need it to survive, but just for fun is wrong.

I just don't understand why the father would give him a rifle to kill the bear for i did not see the point and the father giving his little boy a rifle what was on his mind is a disgrace that their parents like that in this world don't care of their child safety and already training a little boy to kill a animal next time he will get the rifle for something else like to kill people

i agree with you that it is absolutely outrageous and rediculous, and i also think thats its pretty bad that an adult allowed this child to have the gun, or made it possible for him to have access to it. i can understand he may have been scared, but he shouldn't have had that gun in the first place.

i feel very bad for the bear =/

Where's the link to this video?  I just went through yahoo new/videos, and I'm unable to find any such video.

You say the child was in a tree stand?  What was a polar bear doing near trees?  They live in areas where a tree that is a couple hundred years old may only be two feet tall.

Yes I was very outraged by this. It's one thing for a killing a bear if it's trying to attack or harm you, but it's another if it's just minding its business. I hope the family of the boy feels ashamed of themselves but i'm sure they don't because in the video they looked just like another group of rednecks from the south.
