the guy is a freakin monster. He is always hitting Homers and it's hurting my Cubs.

Why is this guy so good? I just don't understand.

  1. No. He's not even the best player in the division. That would be Albert Pujols. But Braun is a pretty darn good player!

  2. if he continues what he is doing he wont be the greatest but one of the most clutch performers in this era. he may even be a candidate for the mvp in 2 or 3 years

  3. ok seriously stop posting, we know your not a cubs fan because this is all you say.

  4. I love Ryan Braun but he'll need to keep it up over the next decade or so if he wants to be the 'greatest player ever.'

  5. If you are not Ryan Braun himself, I sure hope you are an obsessed female fan. Since all of your questions are straight from Ryan Braun's MOM'S website. At any rate I am both scared and sorry for you.

  6. I doubt it.

  7. Does anyone else think this guy's on crack?

  8. He is doing great but he isn't even close to being the greatest player ever he just is doing great who knows maybe he will but in a year or so he could start to slow down a bit.

  9. No way. I mean hes young, hes good, and quite talented, and I personally like him, especially on my fantasy team lol, but to go down as greatest ever? Never happen sorry.

  10. He is only twenty four. There is no way he is regarded as being better than Ruth, or DiMaggio, or Aaron.

He is simply having a good week.

  11. I'll give you a few other names of players that were, after only a year or two, "can't miss" hall of famers.

    Fernando Valenzuela.

    Mark Prior.

    Kerry Wood.

The late Bobby Murcer (billed as the next Mickey Mantle by the NY press.)

And more recently, people were actually comparing Ankiel to Babe Ruth.

Best ever? Very doubtful he could ever pass Ruth or Mays. Or Cobb. Or Honus Wagner. Or any number of hundreds of players.

Let's let him do it for at least 5 years or so before we're ready to call him the best ever.

Two other things - why would a Brewers fan want to pose as a Cubs fan? Don't you realize that we are all a bunch of bandwagon jumping, drunken yuppies who know nothing about the game?

And it's probably time to just admit you have a Man Crush on Braun and move on.

  12. You have got to be nuts. Is this the 1st year of baseball you've ever watched?  I don't care how great his first 2 seasons have been, this is greatest player ever your talking.  Even if he plays an entire career with the numbers he's put up in the first 2 seasons, I still don't think he'd even be top 10 player ever.  You're throwing him into the same category as Babe Ruth, Ted Williams, Lou Gehrig and Mickey Mantle.  You're out of your freakin mind if you think he will ever play at the same level these guys did, and that isn't even a complete list.

  13. he on fire right now but dont worry he wont go down as the greatest

  14. No.  And one of your reasons is him being ROY?! The only reason he even won that is because he can hit so many homeruns(which is understandble). But really, he isn't a versatile player. Troy Tulowitzki should've won ROY because of his hitting AND defense. Sorry but its true.  But his defense has improved after the Brewers moved him to left field.  Maybe because all he has to do is catch pop flies most of the time
