Does anyone else use lapbooks in home schooling?

I am trying to do A-Z lapbooks and I'm finding it hard to find print outs for them. I resorted to making some of my own mini-books. Any other helpful ideas?

i do alot thats pretty much all i use

My sister uses them for her kids but they make their own.

We've done a few and made them up as we went along. I've looked at pre-designed ones but they always seem to be aimed at older children and have bits I wouldn't want to use and no space for the 'what-ever-it-is' that dd really wants to stick in so in the end we just take a card file, fold it and then cut out flaps and make pockets and do our own thing.
