I use my 40" LCD and 50" plasma to dry some of my delicate clothes by leaving them on at night and draping the clothes over them. the clothes are fresh out of the washing machine and are only damp as they have been spun dry.

Does anyone else do this?

Do you think it is bad to do it?

cheers

  1. This is a terrible idea. Water can eat the filament on an lcd display, and leave smudges on a plasma.  Also, is that really how you treat something you've invested a lot of money into?

  2. yes because the wet clothes can short curcit your expensive plasma and no i don't i take care of my TV

  3. No, it's fine.  I always put wet things on my expensive electronics.

  5. you could be possibly electrecuted...don't take chances.
