Do you think these companies are just Mercenary Armies that do not fight under the rules of war?

Do you think it is right that they are payed more that 5 times what soldiers are being payed ?

  1. Do you mean Blackwater?

Whether they admit it or not, they're pretty much mercenaries. They employ people of many nationalities and feel as though they're immune to accountability.

The fact that they're grossly overpaid is shameful and it's a slap in the face to the soldiers who are attacked for the crimes of defense contractors. These contractors are irresponsible and do as they wish in the region. The civilians make no difference between contractors and soldiers so they attack both.

Both the U.S. and Blackwater disrespected a nation's sovereignty. After the atrocities caused by Blackwater, al-Maliki wanted them out of Iraq and face justice but obviously they ignored him.

Fortunately, congress made a step towards reform by requiring them to be accountable for their misdeeds and sheer lack of professionalism on the ground instead of just smuggling the offenders out of the country with no questions asked.
