Does anyone enjoy commuting?

I walk, 20 minutes down a quiet little road, iPod in ears, what could be better than a quiet background with my music in my ears!

I don't drive yet so have to use train/bus to get the 20 miles to work.

I walk to train station (luckily i live close by) get 15 min train journey then get on a bus for 20 mins. Don't mind too much as it allows me to wake up whilst on the way and can read a book or get my head straight. BUT when train/bus delayed I hate it!

Only when I bike. But seriously what makes this urban area liveable is public transit options. But days when I bike to the train then ride the lake  the rest of the way to work .... I wish my commute was longer.

Of course, I do because I am transit lover.

I enjoy communiting on public transportation in NY Metro Area and Philladelphia.

I enjoy ridding the buses I never try it out before, even the buses in Phily.

Lots of reason.

I always commute from my house to museum on different ways.

For example, on April 2nd when MetroCard was introduce on Bee-Line bus for first time, I started special commute from Long Island Bus from Babylon RR Station to Jamaica-179th St, subway to Bee-Line Buses to Croton-Harmon Station in 1-DAY!

100kms 1-way to school, 100kms 1-way to part time job....

Ya, I like commuting. Pop on the crusie control, pump up the radio!

There's no way I can do it forever tho... When I finish school I'm moving closer to wherever it is I find a full-time job...

Sometimes it's the only time in the day I have alone to my thoughts with nothing else but the music I'm listening to and where I'm driving to occupying my mind. I enjoy that part, but I don't particularly enjoy paying for gas right now.  So yeah, sometimes I do!

I enjoy commuting thoroughly because I get to see those lovely views of the mountains, the beautiful lakes with crystal clear waters below and tranquility. I see the owls, ducks, geeses fly out into the air by train of course. Such a pleasant ride everyday for me.

I do when the people in front of me are going at least the speed limit.  That rarely happens.  I often am behind people going 15-20 mph under the speed limit.  That's why the horn is there!  I once just leaned on the horn for over a minute straight, because this person was going 25 in a 40 zone.  I did it because its VERY dangerous to be going that much under the speed limit.  Distracted drivers often don't realize that people are going that slowly, which leads to crashes.

Usually yes. Sometimes its my only time to myself to think or be myself. Plus it is fun to drive, I mean I think so anyway. :)
