Question:

Does anyone ever actually eat ALL the rice when they get it with their takeout meal.?

why do they give us so much!.

i hate wasteing all that rice but i know im never gonna use it for anything else, so i eat about half of it then toss it.

  1. You can refrigerate, buy raw big shrimp, butterfly them and dip them in a bowl(whipped egg with a little water), dip in the rice which you have removed from the fridge and broke the clumps up to dip the shrimp in. Fry and serve with sweet chilli sauce. Yummmm!!! We love extra rice.

  4. If it's just takeout, It's probably really cheap. I guess they want you to think they're food is good for so cheap.

  5. If it's plain rice, you can make great fried rice with it the following day.

    If it's fried rice, I just take the leftovers for lunch

    ETA: my husband always eats the whole thing of rice but barely touches the meat and the vegetables.

  6. I always save about a half-cup to a cup for breakfast the next day with soy sauce or butter, salt and pepper. It makes my morning.

  8. I love rice and I just mix it all up really well and eat. If there is any left I eat it the next day. I could get 2 meals if I tried.

    Rice is usually cheap and will fill you up for a while like pasta.

    but my mom used left over in the pancakes she made on satureday and a very simple custard with rice for a desert

    OH course I teased my older brother with ant eggs..

  11. I actually don't finish it all because I already always have rice at home.  I'm asian so there is always rice in the rice cooker, ready to be eaten.
