Does anyone ever notice that politicians always point to people in a crowd gathering as if they know them?

there probably isn't a REAL reason why but i think its funny how it can be done over and over and never get old lmao

  1. I think they really are seeing people they recognize. They may not be close personal friends but if you meet someone only briefly, it's not surprising that their face might stand out in a crowd of strange faces.


  2. Gestures, such as pointing to the crowd, are effective ways to enhance a speech. If politicians want to persuade their audience, then their delivery must be powerful. Connecting to the audience is crucial… It’s good that you noticed several politicians were repeatedly using this gesture. Maybe they should change it up a bit and keep it fresh. The best speeches are the ones that are not only effective, but also unique in some way.
