Does anyone feel bad for Palin?

I do. I mean I know it was her choice to accept the VP nomination...but she is getting dumped on big time. Think about it, she is going from a small quiet life in a town of 8k to being torn up on every channel, newspaper, and internet site. Untrue rumors are already springing up about her and her new baby...which I think is horrible.

I don't think she is qualified at all...but that isn't her fault that McCain picked her. So I kind of feel bad for her that she is getting all this and her husband and kids now get to see everyone bash her...and it is only going to get worse.

So I do actually feel really bad for her and her family...anyone else?

  1. No not at all. If she didn't want this kind of attention she should have turned McCain down.

If you can't take the heat, stay out of the kitchen.

  2. I don't feel bad for her. She is allowing the Republican party to use the fact she is a woman. Of course she has a lot to gain from this, however is there no shame? The first words out of her mouth are directed towards Hillary Clinton supporters. The women of America are certainly smarter than this charade.

John McCain wants to be President and will do anything to win! I never thought he would so blatantly disrespect women in the process. Oh, I am sorry, I am talking about the man who dumped his crippled first wife in her time of need for a trophy wife with money.

  3. I feel bad that she is being attacked about ridiculous accusations concerning her baby.  It is horrible, and completely unsubstantiated.  However, I've read some articles about her online, many dated from months ago, and she seems like a tough lady who can hold her own.

  4. Ya because she knew, or she should have.

    She'll be fine.

  5. No, I think she is one tough chick and will meet the challenge.  I have complete faith in her abilities, I think you will be pretty surprised to see how well she does.

  6. sarah palin really rocks!

    Mccain/Palin 2008

  7. She could have said No.

She is shockingly unprepared yet threw herself right into the lions den. The only person I feel sorry for is that innocent, beautiful baby whose mother has chosen politics ahead of motherhood.

  8. Would you be asking this if she were a man?  Did you feel bad for Dan Quale?  Do you feel bad for Obama (who has less experience than her)?

She's a tough fighter... a maverick for getting change to occur.  I have a feeling she can handle herself quite well.

I feel sorry for anyone believing that Obama can create change.  He has no track record in making it happen.  He gives good speeches, however!

  9. Timshel.

  10. I don't feel bad for her, because I'm so positive she can hold her own! She's no whimp! They go after her, they better be prepared to be bent out of shape and eat their words! There's NO dirt on her! She's fabulous! I understand feeling sad for her because of the liberal news, but instead ... just cheer her on and pass on all the greatness you know about her to everyone you know! McCain & Palin, 2008!!! YEA!!!

  11. The only thing I feel bad about is the fact that she did bite off more than she could chew, and it is going to be a tumultuous time for her. The nasty world of politics is nothing like a beauty pagent. so suck it up miss priss and get to goin.

  12. Golly gee, she runs a state that is bigger than any nation in Europe,

She runs a state that has a coastline longer than the rest of the USA combined.

She runs one of the states that is not one of the poor states.

Her city of Wasilla AND her state are not high crime with low performing schools. She did not drive her city or state bankrupt.

  13. I feel the same for Obama I know it was his choice and that he is not qualitfied

  14. Nope. You wanna leave small life and your five kids and tackle the fierce world of politics, be my guest. She has no clue what she is getting into, I hope she never did anything unladylike because she will be crucified for it. You want it, you got it.

  15. I feel sorry for her...the only reason McCain picked her was for show...5 children, one with Downs Syndrome, one in the Military....pandering to the religious right.  Picking a woman to pander to the Hillary supporters.  That just shows how McCain simply does not understand...we supported Hillary....not just any woman.

I agree, I don't think she is qualified on bit...they say Obama is not...but he has more experience than she does.

Palin has done her own bashing of Hillary.  Her comment about Hillary whining may come back to haunt her.  She is whining about the investigation of her trying to get her ex-brother-in-law fired.  She was only in office a couple months.  Seems that a little bit of power goes to her head really fast.

And her drill, drill, drill philosophy, somehow I think that would be a conflict of interest with her husband working for BP.  I think we need to pursue the Green technology and become independent of fossil fuels.  We should have in the late '70s into the 80s, but Reagan, another REPUBLICAN did not deem it necessary.  The worst thing we could do is elect a republican!

  16. Well, she is used to battling Alaskan politics. She stopped State funding on the bridge to nowhere. She has had her battles already, and won!

No, I don't think she is a big crybaby like Obama is, who has whined and used every loophole he can find to get where is at... in life.

  17. Yes her family will suffer, that's 5-10 people

But think of this, if that empty suit Obama wins the entire nation (300M poeple) will suffer and meltdow

Pick how many people you want to hurt

  18. I don't feel sorry for her that gun carrying, ProLife, dumb Governor of Alaska.  She is getting exactly what she deserves.

  19. Poor, poor Governor of Alaska Palin.

  20. I think she will suprise a lot of people. She made herself in politics not depending on her husbands rep. She has a lot more guts than a lot of men, I bet she can skin a deer too.

If she does fail she will have given it her best and still be in history and very popular for a long time in politics

  21. Agent 99...Are you from Alaska? Because if your not what do you really know about her to place your "complete" faith in her?

  22. No, she can handle herself and take care of her own.  And the rumors will be out there, especially when you're up against the koolaid drinking lemmings.  She's up to the challenge and I give her kudos for taking it like a TRUE woman!

  23. Idiots, you all do know ther is a person running the 8th largest economy in the world.

Was elected with zero political experience

Once describe Democrats as a "he said to the crowd, "They all look like a bunch of girlie men, right?"

and if he was born in the USA would probbaly be running for President and would win in a landslide.

Palin is more ready than Obama simply because she is a Republican

  24. You have to feel for anyone whose personal life gets dragged through the mud publicly and used for political purposes. Especially when it's motherhood and kids. She's a tough lady and will rise above the trash talk. She also has a track record of leadership results as governor and has played hard ball successfully with 'big oil'.

  25. She seems like a tough lady, so I don't think she's bothered by it.  She has fantastic approval rating in Alaska. She beat the incumbent Republican Governor in the primary and then a former Democratic Governor in the general to become Governor, so she knows how to campaign.  I think it will just roll off her back, as it should.

  26. How can you feel bad for someone who is gonna run against a man who has only spent 153 days as a senator (obama), while you Sarah have more than that as a Governor!!  Sarah has more experience than the dems freakin presidential candidate!!

  27. Oh, trust me Palin can handle it, she's a fighter these politician's we have aren't use to that, they won't know how to handle it. She will gain everyone's respect when she debates Biden. I can't wait she's going to tear him up. To set things straight it doesn't matter if you think she's qualified or not!!

  28. Nobody put a gun to her head.

She took the bait, now comes the hook.

Only an out of touch moron would not expect being torn up by all the haters.

Besides I think she likes the attention.

  29. She could have said no.

  30. No. If she didn't know what to expect, it only shows how unqualified she is to be on the ticket.

  31. 5.5 billion people are going to hate any president and vice president elected.  Palin knows this, Obama is going to find that out the hard way.
