Does anyone feel nauseous when reading/talking about anatomy?

Question

I'm a girl, and I feel sick to to my stomach every time someone talks about what the gynecologist did (like "feeling" ovaries...blah)...

Weird stuff:

I can't even listen to heart beats.

Tampons freak me out.

The word uterus makes me want to throw up!

It's mostly female anatomy stuff, but this will surely be a problem because I AM a female!

What can I do to overcome this? Is anyone else out there like me?

Well, I happen to not care since I am entering the medical field.

How old are you? Sometimes girls feel that way when they're going through puberty because they feel like they'll never be able to get over the whole ordeal of "periods" and "pregnancy" and all that.

But you will, just give it time. You will learn.

im exactly like u! i hate that kind of stuff.it bothers me how in school,u can do nothing about it.
