They are absolutely annoying - and that's exactly why they are effective. How many times have you been in a store, and seeing a product made their stupid jingle pop into your head? They don't care if they're annoying you, as long as they're reaching you. Pitiful, but true.

Yes they are very annoying and makes me wonder why am I paying for cable.   Seems like they are double dipping.   They are getting paid by the infomercial people and by me too for c**p that I dont want to watch and certainly dont want to pay for.

Yes. I also find a few of them addicting - sorry to say... Not fair.
