How he sounds great on stage, but live he can barely get through one sentence? Just like when CNN asked him for his thoughts on McCain picking Palin, all he basically said was, 'Uh, yeah she is a good, um, candidate for the uh Republican um party. Um, yeah, I think McCain did a uh good job um picking her.' It sounded like a stutter! I guess he isn't such a great speaker without that teleprompter! Thoughts?

  1. No! There's too much at stake here to find anything funny in the Democrat or Republican platforms.

The future of the greatest Nation on earth is at stake and your trying to derail the political process with cheap shots. Maybe you had better let the adults do the voting on election day.

  2. Yes. Obama doesn't think well on his feet because he spends too much time trying to overanalyze things.

  3. Obama is only presentable when he's reading from a teleprompter. I saw John McCain in person earlier this month in PA - he's quick, firm, strong, and incredibly intelligent. No hesitation whatsoever answering any questions.

  4. Yeah, he has problems speaking without a teleprompter.  When he makes speeches he's flawless because he can just read what's in front of him.

You see, he has to think long and hard before answering each question because he wants an answer that would appeal to most people.  Rather than telling us how he really feels he has to weigh the response depending on how others who hear his words will feel.

It's actually impossible to please everyone, so some answers he just plain avoids.  Like when he was asked about when a baby is considered to have civil rights.

At least with McCain we get exact answers.  You may not like his answers, but he's honest.  I don't agree with a lot of McCain's stands on issues, but I know when I'm being played for a fool.  Obama just can't be honest, which is typical of modern Democrats these days, unfortunately.  They have problems telling the truth and don't really feel they should be forced to be truthful.  It's impossible to be truthful when your goal is to get people to vote for you under false pretenses.

  5. Yeah I find it funny people are still voting for him after he back stab Hillary.

  6. probably just you... may be you are  scared, not well informed, and grasping for straws because you nothing substantive to say any way

  7. You are absolutely right.Don't let anyone try to convince you otherwise.

  8. Ya i saw that too. Wasnt really funny more pathetic in my book  actually.  I did notice one other thing though doesnt Obama look a little frayed and frazzeld?   I think the man is about to come apart at the seams and have a major meltdown.   A little tired of getting your strings pulled for ya arent ya Mr Obama.

  9. He does a lot better than McCain.,  McCain is has dumb as a bag of rocks.

  10. He is a lawyer.  Lawyers are trained to consider all alternatives.  Apparently he is searching the recesses of his mind looking for the correct thing to say and then just the "right" words to use.  He wants to make sure he has all his bases covered.  A speech is set and memorized.

  11. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NeW4UyPzd...

  12. I found his speech simple ridiculous, full filled with empty statements picked from others.

  13. Barack Obama is great orator as long as he gets to speak uninterrupted. When he has to answer questions or respond to another person, he often makes stupid or incoherent comments. Some of his biggest gaffes during his presidential run have occurred in a question-and-answer or debate format.

  14. evidently you missed his speech

  15. Yes. I've noticed. I want a leader that can speak intelligently without a teleprompter.

Vote for McCain: Teleprompter Not Required.

Edit: Hey, Bob, Obama always gives speeches from a teleprompter. Just because they didn't show it on television doesn't mean it didn't exist.

  16. Um hope, um change, um audacity, um Jeremiah Wright, um my mentor, um William Ayers, um corrupt Chicago machine politician, um, all hail the proletariat, um, in our um, struggle, um against he um corporate um throw my white granny under, um the bus, um, gee its crowded um, under that um bus.  Um raise taxes, um cause depression, um select Washington um insider.   Um, who the h**l is Sarah Palin?  Um, we have state um called Alaska?  That wasn't um on the list um of 57, um I was um going um to campaign in um

  17. It's hilarious but at least INTERESTING..... Geez, get me a cot when McCain comes out!

  18. He doesn't write his own speeches.  I doubt McCain does either.

  19. I know exactly what you mean.

But when someone gives a speech they already know precisely what they are going to say.  Its merely a recitation.

However, when answering questions, one is thinking as they speak.  And many people deliberately sound pensive or overly thoughtful when they speak.  They subconciously believe it makes them seem smarter to others

  21. Obama is a good speaker in all situations.  It is impossible to criticize his speaking skills, and this is agreed upon by both Democrats and Republicans alike.

I am not an Obama supporter, I am not an American.  But it is fairly obvious he is a great speaker.
