  3. I say listen to him ^^^^...but you know, I always think older people are alot smarter, because well they have lived alot more and they have saw alot more tickers in their day..

So we aren't there yet, but there is a 10% chance, but I mean keep up scaring people CNN. It'll get there...

You know you guys are soooo right. So right, I mean in the 30's the unemployment was 25%...and in the eighties it was 10%...what I think you might be forgetting is that there are more people now...so the numbers are still way up there.

  4. It's bad bad but not great depression bad.

Oh and danii, the president cant control the economy

  5. Things were a lot worse under Carter and that didn't trigger a depression.

There was  a much higher unemployment rate, double-digit inflation, and a prime interest rate that peaked at over 21%. There were alternating days (based on your license plate number) on which you could by gas and very long lines.

  6. No, you are not paranoid.  A great depression is indeed coming, but the world will be saved this time by the rising East, esp China.  But the West (N.America and Europe) will suffer a tremendous decline.

  7. I think it's the moral decline, and no one is protesting against it.

  8. yeah, i agree. let's just hope that the government is stupid enough 2 let it happen again. gr8 question

  9. the return of the 70s.but we are all to blame for our over -indulgences.a bit of hardship never killed anyone.we in europe have gone without during 2 world wars and survived.the 70s recession in the uk is similar to whats going on now.we will just have spend less.

  10. No for sure, although some jobs are doing better than others..

I think its starting to become the great depression for the some people and if it doesn't change it will slowly come to everyone else.

  11. My mommy told me we are IN a depression.

    Sucks.

  12. I totally agree. The economy sucks, we have the president to blame for that. Hopfully with the elections coming up our new president can help us get out of the whole we've dug ourselves in. But prices keep riseng, jobs are getting lost, gas is supposed to be at 6$ by the time january rolls around, poverties on the rise, were in debt up to the trillions...its only a matter of time
