Does anyone had a bad experience with Tripadvisor.com?

We've usually had a great experience with TripAdvisor because the reviews that the travelers write are so honest and accurate - and even negative, if that is the truth about whatever hotel they are writing about.  

Only one time have we had a bad experience when taking one of their recommendations.  They highly recommended a little motel in the Big Sur area which was actually pretty awful.  We were bummed when we got there, but had already paid for the weekend so we had to stay.  It wasn't one of our better trips.  Anyway, I guess that's what you get when so much of the content of their site is written by people that may have a different opinion about what is "nice" than you or I might.  

Good luck, I hope your experiences with them get better soon!  I think overall they are a quality site.
