Does anyone has had a bad experience with Condesa Del Mar Banquet hall in Alsip, Illinois?

I booked a wedding on 2.6.08 for 11.22.2008. i put $600 deposit and $1100 made so far on payments. I had to canceled the banquet on 6.29.08 and they are telling me they are keeping all the money. contract says all cancellations must be made i writing asap to limit liability. doesnt say how long. and also says ifo for any reason even is canceled i'm responsible for entire event. but they are not requesting entire amount they just want money i put. now fiance asked for a manager and they are not giving us any information on who's the manager. please help.

Contact the Better Business Bureau or one of those tv or newspaper help people. They are good at getting things straightened out.
