Does anyone has vonage?

Question

ok I had it for a while!

you know that in order to have vonage,your internet has to work

but my internet connection works but my phone doesn't

I can't call or receive calls.

I checked everything

I called them and they told me that the phone should work

Has anyone experienced that kind of problems??

if so plz help,what did you do?

If your ATA is bad, your calls won't work.  If you have a SOHO switch or router, try plugging your connection into the vonage box directly.

Everyone dealing with Vonage should know that the BBB (Better Business Bureau) revoked their accreditation in March 2007, because Vonage had a track record of failing to resolve or respond to complaints about their service.

I was a customer for 4 years, and recently switched carriers due to a longstanding issue with voicemail technical service.  When I placed an order to disconnect, the CSR fraudulently switched me to a month to month plan.  

Avoid this service if at all possible.  I used to evangelized Vonage (see my past posts), but now I can no longer do so.

I've had no problems with it and have had it for well over a year.  Do you use your existing phone jacks or do you just have a phone plugged into the back of the vonage router?

Your router could have gone bad or the phone cords connecting to your phone or the one plugged into the wall.

On the front of the vonage router is there a green light on for "Phone 1'?
