I want to be on Disney SO BAD!

I'm hopefully sending in my picture to Camp Rock 2,

and Hannah Montana's next season.

But only as extras because I want to work up.

I really like to sing too.

But no one's heard me. And I want to reach that eventually.

imostly want to do it becaause my idol, Demi Lovato,

I saw her in July, but missed most of her set due to problems with my anxiety.

But I always think about being on screen with her, or on stage with her. So many of my friends have started music lately.

And I'm VERY jealous, I won't lie.

I look around on here, and I just see people saying 'Are you kidding>! that could never happen!' "don't waste your time!'

And if that's all I'm going to get don't bother.

But I really want some advice.

I'm just a 14 year old, with NO support what-so-ever.

Please help me :|

  1. You have to get your family support. If you are serious about it, and work hard, they will support you in the long term. ! Being famous is not the key point... the key point is to be an artist. Just pursue it, perform, perform, perform, in any possible play to get seen by as many people possible... You also have to identify a style that you want. A person, group, or company that really make you think "I want to do that". Find a way to  practice with their technique (and i said practice, besides study). practice is finally what will get you on stage in a solid way. Make yourself clear if you want either a JOB or an artistic activity that will make you happy. Being notorious is not necessary being talented, or, even worse, it will make you compromise many ethical things that you might not like to do or act in plays that you dont really like. The commercial circuit not always cross roads with the pure artistic lane, so you have to be focused in what you deeply wish. Welcome! Best of luck

  2. REad all of the above answers and learn! You have to have experience, training, and agent and most of all parental support. YOu can't do a thing without them until you are 18.

  3. Truth is - it's SO difficult, and there's sooo many people that have the same dream as you. The competition is fierce, and if you want to make it at this age, you absolutely need support from your parents. Everything you do has to be consent of your parents since you're a minor.

It's not true that it could never happen, but it's true that it's a hard business to break into. But once you've established yourself as a great actress or singer, you'll keep getting steady jobs. Take Johnny Depp for example - everyone knows he's great, and he always gets offers for roles.

If you work your butt off for years, you could make it in the business.

Take lots of acting classes so you can have some training on your resume, and while you're taking them, do local plays - some community theater - or even theater acting that PAYS! [sweeeet]. This will get you the much needed experience on your resume. You can try to find student films, independent films, and maybe even extra roles.

Once you've got a pretty good resume going, and you know you're totally serious about acting as a career choice, get some professional headshots. They aren't cheap.

Then you can send out your headshot and resume to agencies near you, and hope for a call saying they'd like to meet with you, and then hope that they sign you.

THEN you can really audition for Disney Channel, but in my opinion - Disney is stupid, get some real respect as an actor and go for the adult roles. Like Dakota Fanning. She gets more respect than Miley Cyrus, agree?

Singing is also great for the resume :D

go to http://www.sag.org/node/667 to find agencies near you. You can mail your headshot and resume to the addresses listed, but DON'T DO IT UNTIL YOU'VE GOT TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE.

You can make it if you try your best <3

  4. Sure, but it's only possible if you work your BUTT off. Take vocal lessons, dance lessons, and acting lessons. There are sooo many people who want to be actors so you have to be the very best if you even want to have a chance.

  5. ok im really sorry, but you are under 18 and you're parents NEED to support you  because they have to drive you to sets for movies, they need to sign you're acting contract to, and they have to be on the set of the movie when you're working.

for now keep dong local theatre and maybe when you're parents see you preforming on stage, they will know this is rite for you.
