Does anyone have a Nikon D40 handy?

Question

I am trying to put my d40 on instant release remote mode in the automatic setting. My LCD screen is broken and I cannot read the menu.

If you have a D40 you can look at, please tell me the EXACT buttons to press to activate this setting without being able to look at the menu.

I don't have the camera on me right now, but I guess I'd share this idea:

Grab a video cable that came with the camera and plug the camera into your TV. Then you should be able to see the menu on your tv screen.

This should do it for you.
