Does anyone have a Samsung HDTV that makes a ticking or twang sound when turning it on and off? Is it normal?

It is a brand new tv the 6 series to be exact and I have heard people saying its a normal Samsung thing but I just want to know for sure.

I have the same tv, It makes a noise when turning it off and on, but its like a.... I dont know how to explain it sound...sorry

Samsung purposely uses a set of tones to announce that your TV is either turning "on" or "off". In fact, if you pay attention, you will notice that there are two distinct tones patterns. One that announces that the TV is "turning on" and a different set of tones to announce that the TV is "turning off". This allows you to confirm, even though you may not be looking directly at your TV, that you have in fact performed a power sequence command and which command was performed.
