Im looking for a boat for sale in the melbourne area hoping to spend $1200 or mabey less. HELP

When I want to see whats around I usually Google "boats for sale" and select "Results from Oz". Just about all the brokers sites come up. Their sites usually allow you to specify type size price etc.

If its a yacht you then go to the class association site and ask for advice on value.

Otherwise go to the Yacht and Sailing Clubs and ask whats available, you would be amazed how many boats change hands before any ads or Brokers are even dreampt of.

Florida is awash with used boats right now due to the foundering economy. Check http://spacecoast.craigslist.org/boa/

I just found over 300 items in the boats category for under $1200, many of which are boats.

Chapman School of Seamanship in Stuart and other non-profit organizations sell donated boats.
