  1. What Lucy is asking for is a "crew change guide" it is a small book containing info on when and where freight trains stop to change their crew's or do work.

It is the main resource used by train hoppers to figure out when and where they can "catch out" to any specific destination.

The info inside a crew change is private to the freight hopper's; it is never to be posted online or given to an untrustworthy person.

I don't know where you are going to find one Lucy, unless you know some "hoppers" personally and I figure if you did you wouldn't be asking in the first place.

This makes the third time in a few months I've seen this type of question asked, with no results for the asker.

  2. It's called A Railroad map! Find&Ride!

  3. d**n Lucy, I would love to have you love me forever but unfortunately no such guide exists.  What I can tell you is that the crew can't operate the train any longer than twelve hours, legally.  Our schedule flucuate alot.  One day you can get called or report for work and be there 3 hours and other days be there 12 plus depending where you run out of time at.  Most of the jobs do however have a set time to go on duty unless its an extra.

  4. Its just according what the Union contract says
