I'm looking for my own domain name and hosting. Does anyone have (either) one I could use to construct a site for clubs that will have little traffic. In return, I will be sure to credit their site/name on the front page. Let me know- itsmachoman@yahoo.com

  1. Nobody's going to go for that.

Your options are either a freebie site or to spend less than $10 at GoDaddy for registration and five dollars per month for hosting.

  2. It's better to get your own, because that's basically like someone paying for it. Or you may not get what you truly want. Below, I will list some free and cheap sites that allow you to buy your own site name:

    GoDaddy.com

    Register.com

    Buydomains.com

    ww.domain.com

    eNom.com

^^ all of those are for buying, but

Yahoo! Geocities has no traffic, and still allows

you to build a site. (with the .geocities, I believe)

Piczo allows you to build your own sites, but remember

    that it's yourdomain.piczo.com.

Office Live is very useful, too, but places like MyDomain.com

have special such as starting off at $5.25 and such..

It'll never be more than 10 dollars a month if you're worried about the price,

though, 8's probably the highest for just one name.

You can also try Dreamweaver to build your websites too, because some

places are sort of complicated to set up.

    Cheers!
