  1. maybe you could do OCD

  2. There is a blue color that is considered by about 50% to be blue.  There is the other 50% that swear the color is purple and you are not going to tell them any different.  Very interesting study.   Poll 20 people randomly one day at even, the fabric store you buy the fabric at.  You will probably get 50/50.  Anyway, it is very interesting.

  3. A group (including myself) did an experiment on the college campus. Our question to be answered was: Does color affect taste?

We purchased flavored clear water (all bottles had the same flavor) and put 3 drops of food coloring (different color for each) into each bottle. Dont get an obvious flavor like lemonade, try berry. We removed the label so participants had no idea of the brand or the original flavor. Using small paper cups each participant chose two colors to taste and reported the 'flavor' that they tasted.

On a chart list "Participant A or 1", "Color and Flavor 1", "Color and Flavor 2"

DON'T TELL ANYONE THE ACTUAL FLAVOR!

Try to get as many participants as possible but don't tell anyone what you are checking for. Make up something like, "This is a new sports drink and we (if you have a partner) I (if you are working alone) am trying to determine if the flavor is strong enough to be recognized. You will need to set up either in the school cafeteria or a commons area and have school permission to use human subjects.

Its a great laugh but don't laugh until you are done.

The great thing is that COLOR DOES AFFECT TASTE!
