Does anyone have a good idea for a yearbook title?

I am on the yearbook staff at my school and we are trying to think of a name. Not like a theme. My old schools was called the talon because they were eagles. My mascot is a tiger but we are trying to stay away from that. I also dont want anything like memories or like a year to remember. That is not original enough. I though of like the roar but our high school did that. Thanks and I need responses soon!

  1. This might be too subtle, but I remembered an old poem that went

"Tiger, Tiger, burning bright, In the darkness of the night...."

    What about "Burning Bright".

    Maggie

  2. I'm not sure how long you're looking for it to be, one or two words maybe, but I think calling it..The Road Less Traveled would be cool...maybe too long I don't know. But it's saying that it's unique to your school and alluding to a famous Robert Frost poem.

  3. Dawning Night seems poetic, eh?

  4. um

maybe make it like ipod themed.

    and call it iremember

and on the front cover, have an ipod with a picture or collage in the screen.

i dont really know any other ideas.

    sorry.

  5. I really am partial to the roar because it was the title of my high school's yearbook.  I would stay away from the first poster's section.  It is very clever, but around here "burning" is  drug-related slang.

Now for something constructive... "Impressions" is a little goofy.  "The Zoo" would be funny, but you don't want a tiger reference.  Maybe "Frames" (as in picture frames) would work.

This is actually pretty tough because I don't know about your area or your school's traditions or even colors.

  6. My high school mascot was the Demons and our YB was the Smokerings....it was awesome.

Some ideas that have something to do with your mascot:

    The Pounce

    The Hunter

    The Predator

The Jungle Book (lol...I am so proud of myself on this one!)

    The Panthera (genus of tigers)

    Just a few ideas...

  7. Exodus

    defined:

    1. a going out; a departure or emigration, usually of a large number of people: the summer exodus to the country and shore.

  8. name it after your school or something like that.
