  1. Hhmmm...I don't have a strawberry CAKE recipe, but I do have one for creamy strawberry squares!  :)  (kinda close, right?)  I promise, they are tasty!  :D

    Ing:

      *1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour + 1/4 cup, divided

      *3/4 cup butter, melted

      *3/4 cup pecans, chopped

      *1 cup sugar

      *3 tbsp strawberry jello powder

      *1 cup water

      *2 cups powdered sugar

*1 8-ounce pkg cream cheese, softened

      *1 8-ounce tub cool-whip

      *3 cups sliced strawberries

    Dir:

      1.  Preheat oven to 350-deg F.  For crust, combine the 1 1/2 cups flour with melted butter and stir in pecans.  Pat mixture evenly into the bottom of an ungreased baking dish (rectangular).  Bake about 20 minutes, until edges are golden brown.  Remove from oven and let cool.

      2.  For strawberry topping, in a medium saucepan combine sugar, 1/4 cup flour and jello powder; stir in water.  Cook, while stirring, until thickened and bubbly; cook 1 minute more.  Remove from heat, cover and chill in refrigerator (about 30 minutes, until the consistency of egg whites).

      3.  In a large bowl gradually add powdered sugar to cream cheese, beating at medium speed until combined.  Add cool-whip by spoonfuls; beat until smooth.  Spread mixture over cooled crust and arrange sliced strawberries over top.  Spoon strawberry topping over strawberries.  Cover & chill for 4-24 hours.  Yum!  :)

    ICING:
