  1. Pay a couple of hundred bucks and get a professional in!!!

Remember, Indian mynahs are horrible, aggressive vermin which destroy our native wildlife. Don't feel too much sympathy for them! Even WIRES and vets are required to euthanase them if an injured mynah is brought in!

We had a pair start nesting in our roof, and next thing we knew our bedroom was crawling with bird lice!!! It was SO disgusting!

We had the exterminator come the next day and remove the nest, spray the lice and block up the hole with wire. The only problem was, he blocked it up with the babies still inside - they had been hiding while he cleared the nest. It took us a while to realise that the parents were then feeding the babies through the gaps in the wire (a bit like Mercedes Corby bringing food for Schapelle! LOL)

Anyway, he came back and got rid of the baby birds and we never had the problem again.

  2. About the only thing that will keep them out is wire mesh.

  3. Periodic cleaning and clearing of the roof gutters would prevent them from roosting. Take it as a form of exercise once a month. If it is too high up, then professional help would be the most appropriate.

  4. sounds dumb but it works for the dumb birds..... rubber snake the ones from the toyshops are really really good its worked so far

  5. Wire mesh or you can buy special type of covering for gutterings (not too expensive)  but just remember - make sure to get out any birds  already there, otherwise you will have rotten dead birds to clean out. These nasty birds are so clever they find even small holes to enter the actual roof space. Good luck.

  6. lol uh.. sorry i don't..
