  1. We once organised a fundraising event for a organisation. What we did was, we started off with a walk-a-thon for families, and after they got back, the kids got to go around for games like dartboards(obviously for kids), "what's in the bucket"- where we filled up buckets full of slimy stuff(u can get cheap ones from shops) and put surprises in for them and some other games. each game was priced at $1 making it cheap for kids. for the adults, we had like a garage sale where people donated stuff that they did not need but were in good condition. once again, everything was priced within a certain limit, for example $20, depending on the product of course. lastly, the highlight of the day was "haunted house", where we blacked out a whole room with black paper so that no light gets in. even the ceiling was covered in black paper. then we got huge pieces of black cloth and made a maze through the room. dry ice and creepy maniquins were included. we had volunteers lying on the ground and when people had to walk through the maze, our volunteers would grab their legs or just scare them out of the blue.

these are all ideas that were well received and we managed to raise quite a big sum! plus they don't cost much to set up!

    hope this helps!!
