Does anyone have a leatt neck brace?

im really thinking about buying a leatt neck brace for motocross, i was wondering if anyone had one, and wanted to see what they thought about it

We just had a one of our riders break his neck with a leatt brace on............The Doctors said he would be dead if he had not had it on....He can never race again but he is alive..

You might want to buy one...

My sons both have the leatt brace and have worn them for the last 18 months.  They wont ride without them now as they are so used to wearing them.  My youngest does supercross and has had a number of nasty stacks and the brace has done its job and stopped his neck from bending.  Sometimes a concussion can be a bit more severe as the brace stops the neck bending so the head comes to a stop a lot quicker which can result in concussion.  Some people have said that there is more likelyhood of breaking a collarbone with them, but a broken collarbone sure beats having a broken neck.  One of my sons is just about due to replace his brace as it has had a few impacts and he wants another leatt.
