I would like to get my eyebrow pierced but not in a shop. I feel that i get more nervous. I have had my belly button pierced by a person with a piercing license and i felt more comfortable getting it done there. So can anyone do that for me?

  1. I would recommend going to the shops itself and asking a piercer that you would trust.

  2. Really you should be more comfortable in a shop. The shop has the ability to be cleaned and kept sanitary in a way that most homes just cannot be. A clean shop is going to be the safest way to get yourself pierced.

If shops make you nervous, go to one on a day that you don't plan to get pierced. Go just to interview the piercer and get to know them. You can visit whenever you like (and the shop has time, of course). You're VERY likely to find that most piercers and shops are friendly and glad to help you get comfortable. Piercers want your experience to be easy and low-stress. If you find a piercer who doesn't want to work with you, then leave the shop and find a different one. There are plenty of friendly piercers out there!

A licensed, responsible piercer is going to want to work on you in the best possible environment. That environment is in a clean, well stocked shop where they have everything they need.

Check out a few reputable shops and find a piercer you are comfortable with. This way you'll get your piercing done in a safe place, with a person who has the proper equipment and can perform the piercing correctly.
