Does anyone have a problem with smelling food in their bathroom (due to neighbors)?

my neighbor's kitchen is next to my bathroom wall and it's so gross because i smell food often (garlicky gross smelling food) in the bathroom. i can't take a shower or enjoy my bathroom during those times because it smells so bad! i tried opening the window and putting in those plug-in air freshners. does anyone know of any other tips to get rid of the smell or better air fresheners?

Get a fan and place it in that direction.

FInd out how the food smell is getting in there.  Is it through your bathroom exhaust fan?  They probably have all of your ducting running together or something.  Try turning the fan on during the times that the food smell occurs and hopefully this will force the smell in another direction.

i have the same problem with my neighbors. they smell up my whole apartment. i always get a curry boiled cabbage smell.

you should go next door and tell them your problem tell them you don't like that much and if don't agree call 911

yeah i like that answer above the vents are connected,get the landlord on it..........tom
