  1. The only breads I know that don't need to rise are 'quick' breads, they don't use yeast.  Most yeast type breads need at least 1 rise, if not 2.

  2. Look up quick breads.  Chekc this out:

  3. I dont but it taste better if left to rise

  4. You can't use a yeast bread as it always takes the time.

    Beer Bread??

    1 can beer

    3 cups flour

    2 teaspoons baking powder

    2 tablespoons sugar

    1/2 teaspoon salt

    1/3 cup melted butter

pour butter in loaf pan and swirl around then pour it into the dry ingredients you have blended or sifted. Now stir in the can of beer. It will foam a lot, hugely, but keep stirring until all the beer is in the flour mixture and flour is all dampish. Pour into loaf pan and bake for 15 to 30 minutes in 400F oven.

  5. You can make beer bread. The beer acts as the leavening and doesn't require rising time:

1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle beer

    3 cups self-rising flour

    3 tablespoons white sugar

    DIRECTIONS

In a large bowl, mix together the sugar and flour. Add beer and continue to mix, first using a wooden spoon, then your hands. Batter will be sticky. Pour into a 9 x 5 inch greased loaf pan.

Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees ) for 50 for 60 minutes. The top will be crunchy, and the insides will be soft.

  6. Your best bet is buying a bread mix called Wright's - they're cheap, do lots of varieties of bread and are delicious. They aren't instant but they take about half an hour instead of two! Other tips for getting bread to rise: put the bread somewhere damp/humid and place a cloth over the bowl whilst you are letting it rise.
