Does anyone have a reciple for homemade chocolate cake with peanut butter icing?

Where I live, alot of people make home made chocolate cake with Peanut Butter icing. Everything is homemade. Lots of women have the recipe, but no one ever gives it to me. I think they put coffee in the chocolate cake... Would anyone please share it with me??

i think u can look on the back of a hershey's cocoa powder and get the recipe for a homemade chocolae cake and just tweek it with extra ingredients if u have too! but i'm not sure about the frosting

I don't have a recipe for the chocolate cake, but I made this cake last week and the icing is SO good.  Hopefully someone else can help with the cake recipe.  Too bad the women in your area won't share!

Double Peanut Butter Cake

Cake:

½ c. creamy peanut butter

¼ c. butter, softened

¾ c. sugar

2 eggs

1 ½ c. flour

2 t. baking powder

¼ t. salt

¾ c. milk

Frosting:

½ cup chunky peanut butter

3 T. butter, softened

3 c. powdered sugar

¼ c. milk

1 ½ t. vanilla extract

In a mixing bowl, cream peanut butter, butter and sugar. Add eggs; mix well.

Combine flour, baking powder and salt; add alternately with milk to creamed mixture. Mix well. Pour into a greased 9" square baking pan. Bake at 350° for 30-35 minutes or until cake tests done. Cool on a wire rack.

For frosting, cream peanut butter and butter. Add sugar, milk and vanilla; mix until smooth. Frost cake.
