Does anyone have a recommendation for a good resort in punta cana?

There are many good resorts in Punta Cana/Bavaro, but generally The Melia's are very good and the Riu's also.

The Iberostar is also a very good one. All depending on taste (yours) and of course budget.

The Paradisus Punta Cana is a beautiful resort. There are about 10 restaurants to pick from, and the land it beautiful. The ocean and beach is gorgeous, and the pool features a swim-up bar. Even the rooms are spacious and comfortable. I went their for a wedding, and it was a lot of fun. The resort always has something going on with many activities to participate in! It was someplace I would definitely go back to in the future!

I stayed at the Melia Paradisus about six years ago. The accommodations were excellent (and beautiful), the food exceeded my expectations and the staff were extremely friendly. I was able to book the week through Applevacations.com, I was very pleased and would encourage anyone who intends to go to Punta Cana to go there.
